331 HEMI!! 1954 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe
1954 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe. Purchased from the estate of the original owner, who was still driving in early 2000. Other than some interior work to the seats and outside repainted (believed to have bee done in the 90s) this car is as original as anyone could wish for. It has the 331 Hemi Powerplant with 2 speed automatic. The engine still runs off the original 6 volt system, charged by a generator, which also powers the rare optioned power steering pump. It still has the original oil bath air cleaner and I highly doubt this motor has been touched except for regular maintenance. It is in need of tires and could benefit from fresh fluids from sitting. You can tell by the pictures this car is very complete and in very good condition. Window trim, emblems, handles, hub caps are all there, except one part of a rear inside door crank, the windows operate smooth, and the doors shut tight like a new car. If you've been looking for a Old Hemi Powered Chrysler, you will not be disappointed!! please do not insult me by offering an extremely low price, I have a clear title and am in no rush to sell.
