I have a 440 to stuff in that bad boy. What a cool car. I would buy that thing in a heartbeat if I had someplace to put it.

I had one similar to this and it had so much rust i had to cut away all the sheet metal eight inches up the sides from the bottom of the rear quarters and hand make all that lovely curvy metal including around the rear wheel arches, it came out pretty good, check out the pic, i ended up selling it for 12k 11 years later. :eek:s_dancing2:

hey, that's great........I can buy a rotbox polara rag and have you do the metal work.........looks like you are pretty good at it.

Damn that's nice.
Got a good buck for it, too. Nice job!.

12K seems really cheap to me for that beautifully restored car.

I had a light blue 61 Dart Phoenix with a 318 automatic when I was a kid. typical Michigan car. It ran like a top, but was so rusted you could see what was in the trunk with it closed. It was so bad I lost the spare through the side of the quarter panel one time when I took a corner too fast. It still ran good when it literally fell apart parked in the barnyard after a torsion mount broke.

my buddy's father has one, a 4 dr htp, we rode in it at the carlisle chrysler show in july.......you wouldn't believe the people commenting on it before he even got it parked on the show field.

The times dictated i sell it quick it got me some more cars to play with, i now own three chargers which cost me less than the yellow car and one of them is a one owner RT 1968 model that's been parked for 35yrs. Yah its got a rusty back end but its complete and very original , plus i can handle rust :)

I was 7 in 1953 when my dad took me with him to a Dodge dealership while shopping for his first NEW car, a 53 Coronet coupe. But A red 53 Dodge convertible on the showroom floor sparked the "car nut" in me....(Dad... get this one...!)
It was the forward look cars of the mid 50's and early 60's that firmly put me in the mopar camp.
