Is this normal on my 72 Fury rear taillight lens?

The title is self explanatory. I have what looks like black paint near the backup section of my Fury light lens.
See photos I took. I don’t think it’s meant to be there. I guess checking the other lens first would have been an idea too.
If it’s abnormal what do others recommend to clean light lenses of paint marks? Paint stripper?

Yes, it is meant to be there. It is applied by the manufacturer on a multitude of models' tail light lenses to highlight, mask for appearance, and/or prevent light bleed.

Was about to remove with some acetone or thinners..
