I am just joining this thread/topic, is your car running disc brakes? NO
If not then this will be your problem...
Based on your previous pics posted here, you have drums all around. YES, drums all around.

I'm trying to find some pics online with no success at this point. I happen to have my FSM with me right now and neither the drum or disc master cylinder in it look like mine.

Bolt on cap for all drums,
Wire held cap for front disk/ rear drums

Careful, there are drum/drum masters that have the bail.
Same size reservoirs drum/drum.
Different size disc/drum.

This is a drum/drum, it was later replaced with the correct looking one.

Me too. It's been almost ten years since I've replace one; I think I left that screw in place. I'd have to pull it off to confirm!

Alan & Snotty,
You're right leave it there. I'm not always the brightest bulb in the box so I pulled MC while still connected to the lines I started to unscrew this. Once the plunger came out the least little bit it started to leak brake fluid.

On the same note if you've got manual brakes you better install the little kit below prior to bench bleeding or installing.

My answer is yes, there is a bracket that has two holes that bolts down which holds the rubber boot.

After putting over 200 miles on it last weekend I feel good about the brakes ability to stop. I need to adjust up the right front a bit to equalize them and eliminate a little bit of pull, but I believe the MC did the trick.

Thanks for all of the help guys.
