Damn that's depressing. Labor day the official end of summer and you guys skip fall and go straight to winter.

That was this morning. By tomorrow the temperature will be back up again and all the snow will be gone. Forecast is sunny and 65 tomorrow, and 75 for Friday/Saturday.
All I can say is WOW!

80 miles south of Calgary (60 miles north of the Alberta/Montana border). I am 40 miles north of Calgary and we had none.

I guess we would say it's not abnormal to have a day or two of this every fall. On the eastern slope of the mountains this can happen almost any month of the year. There has been recorded snow every in month but July (not every month every year) in this area.
