The two events were sponsored by Hot Rod Ranch a local hot rod shop. The Friday cruise in was an open evening show & go event and the Saturday Show was their annual Gasser Roundup where a bunch of vintage gassers show up.

Congratulations ..... that is an honor

Thanks, a nicer honor would be to make the magazine. I spoke with the guy that took these pictures and he was realy interested in my friends other car, a 1970 Cuda 340 4-speed car with a painted roof. They'll be back to probably do a feature on his car.

This was the first day this car was back on the road after the restoration, apparently two-tone 1970 Barracuda/Cuda's are quite rare.

I mentioned my 69 CHP Polara project and he was interested in it and wanted me to keep him posted and let him know when it was done.

I'm happy for you, but I have zero respect for Hot Rod magazine. Such a myopic view of the car hobby.

Congrats! It's always nice to garner some attention with our "pride and joy".

Congrats, Alan.

I love Hot Rod. I pick it up every time I'm in an airport & I always end up reading it from cover to cover.

As for a myopic view, it is called Hot Rod after all.

I wouldn't care if it was AARP weekly if someone wants to feature my car I'd say go for it.
Currently I get no magazines as there is little published for the purists.
There was Muscle Car Review when it was still monthly but that went away.

That's something you just don't get sick of seeing.

mopar collector's guide
mopar action
mopar muscle

I Used to get all those Mopar Mags...got tired of the constant regurgitation of the same old cars, tech etc... I currently subscribe to "Hot Rod" and "Hot Rod Deluxe". I love the mags...especially HRD! Yes HR can have a lot of stuff I don't particularly like, or even interests me, but it does cover a large cross section of the automotive hobby.

As a kid working in a gas station, I was the first (and only) one to grab each trade magazine as they came in.
Used to love reading "Insider's Tips" like
Easy Mustang Upper Ball Joint Fitting Access...

I get MCG and Mopar Muscle and no longer take much time to read them. It should be of no surprise that I like the pictures. Has anybody here ever listed a car for sale in MCG?
