Joe Diffie Won't Be Down For Breakfast......

Yeah, saw it on Facebook earlier. Googled him and found a Fox news story from 2 days ago were he had tested positive. RIP.

Probably John Prine...:(
Wow, didn't see that he was bad too.

Became a fan of his music the first time I heard "Paradise" sung by Jim and Jessie. My first wife's family were Bluegrass musicians and I got to hear a lot of good bluegrass music (and some really bad too). That was one of the songs that her father's band did occasionally.

Alan Merrill of the Arrows has also passed away from the china virus.
While most won't know the name, he wrote a song called "I Love Rock and Roll" made into a mega hit by Joan Jett.

I did not know John Prine was in trouble with the Wuhan Flu. . . I became acquainted with his music some years ago, when I heard "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian." Here he is as a younger man:

Very sorry to hear John is in such critical condition.

Rip

I just heard John’s condition improved today! Thank the lord. I’ll bet he’ll write some good songs outa this experience!

Dang. Joe was one of my favorite country artists. That's really sad....Funk. :(

My former wife's hometown has a water tower. Back when we were getting married and all that stuff, I was contemplating my own version of graffiti in John Deere Green....it would have been perfect.....but I was too lazy.
