Good from far, far from good, still turns heads haha. Anywhere I can get touch up paint for this color ? 78 , it's a dark blue color. It's got a lot of chips actually.

Most parts stores and such only carry the current production colors, not the older ones UNLESS they might have been used in lots of years. Might be able to find something close, though. Not all stores have the exact same selection, though.

Might try the DupliColor website as they built the OEM touchup paint, OEM and otherwise, then as now.

dont order paint by the code. too many variations.

go to a paint shop that has a scanner that will read your paint and come up with a matched formula.

To match the paint on my 78 New Yorker I took the rear fender skirt to a Sherwin Williams automotive paint store. Several people in my car community recommended this store based on the person working there. He made up a custom sample and applied it to a card, let it dry and took the skirt and the card into the sunlight light outside and checked it out. After a bit of tweaking he was able to provide a perfect match.
Hope this helps. As the other comments have stated, even if you follow the proportions for the factory paint code, chemicals and shades of the various pigments have changed over the years, so you will get close but not an exact match. Good luck.

It’s great that they have that technology now. Some dumbass sideswiped my parked Caravan over 10 years ago. The respected body shop matched the color so well that you still can’t tell where the repair area is.
