Now, what could a turquoise 1970 Polara be doing on the road today, sandwiched between a 1971 GB2 Challenger convertible and a 1972 GY4 NYB (looking suspiciously like Buttercup)?
Well, both cars needed exercise after sitting in the garage since Carlisle, so @Imperialist67 and I drove both cars to the Kensington park auto show. It is a small event held every year at a retirement home just north of Bethesda, MD to raise money for Alzheimer research.
The weather was fantastic. Here are some photos from the show.
First is Regina, my FQ3 Polara ‘vert, parked next to a 1949 Plymouth. A red ‘vette and a silver Porsche are parked further to the right.
Next is Buttercup, my 1972 New Yorker. She is parked next to a gorgeous, fully redone 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire of similar color.
