Hello,
I am looking for a set of 2 NOS blanks for the glove box in my 67 Fury VIP. I found a key supplier on ebay but they're asking for a key code. I know most car manufacturers back then used the same key for trunk and glovey, but apparently Chrysler was the exception. A third key was used for locking Chrysler glove box locks which had a wafer lock with a 1098X keyway.

Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks! Alex

My 1966 Dodge Monaco used the same key for trunk, glove box and console. As far as I know it's the same way for a number of years. I think that the supplier may be confusing you regarding Chrysler Imperials as oposed to Chrysler (Newports NYrs etc) and the entire Plymouth and Dodge lines.

For what it's worth my 1966 Chrysler wagon uses the same key blank for its' glove box as my Dodge.

If anyone will know it's Joey Jesser of Jesser's Classic Keys - he helped me out a number of years ago and really knew his stuff.

Welcome to Jesser's Classsic Keys
