Whats the largest tire I can fit in the rear of the 66 300 with skirts amd 4.5 backspacing on 14 rallys rims? Any trail and error? Or basically can i stuff a 27x 8.5 winter tire in there....

The 14 inch rims really do limit your tire size choices. click the link in my last post for some really good recommendations.

At Carlisle a few years I saw a '66 300 with 16: Vintique wheels that looked surprisingly nice on it. Anything larger will definitely look "modified," for what it's worth...…
