That is tragic. Even though some people have good friends, they still have a hard time in this world. Depression and mental illness are widespread and hard to detect in some individuals, and then they surprise us by taking their lives. Robin Williams comes to mind, and he had so much going for him. It didn't help. Hope your hurt heals in time and you can cherish the good memories.

I will never get over that or understand it.

Sorry to hear of this loss, a friend that I became reaquainted with 2years ago just did the same the on December 6 2014. A male model in high school it was always him the girls paid attention to, but he had a separation problem. When someone broke up with him he went into a deep depression. None of us knew this anguish in him over relationships, and we all would have done anything to help if we knew. Again sorry to hear of your loss.

So many people still do not realize or grasp what depression is. Many think "Oh, I'm having a bad day!" constitutes depression. Yeah, we all get depressed at times, especially when you lose a job, a family member, friend, or a beloved pet. But for some, it's a chronic, never-ending hell that they see no way to escape. Very sad.
