Sorry for not introducing myself sooner but I got caught up reading many of the posts. I've owned a number of Mopars over the years, two 1970 Sixpack Challengers,a 1970 Charger 500,1977 Aspen R/T, and a 1969 Newport Custom. Currently I'm trying to restore a 1972 Dodge Polara WSP patrol car,my first time restoring a C body so I have alot to learn. I hope to have some photo's posted soon.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Do you still have any of the other beauties that you mentioned?

Unfortunately I can only afford one project at a time, so I have to sell one car to afford the next. One of my sixpack Challengers was featured in the Oct. 2009 Hemmings Muscle Machines. Alot of credit goes to the owner at the time,he spent alot money and time keeping the car in mint condition. My current project is a 1972 Dodge Polara WSP patroll car, U code 440,white with blue interior, left hand spot light.Included in the purchase is a 72 Polara CA. Sheriffs car, this car has all the same options as a CHP car including the ivory steering wheel. I plan on combining the two, currently I'm gathering as many NOS parts as I can. I think it'll be two to three years before it's back on the road. I promised my wife this is the LAST one!

Welcome. I am also on FABO. If you don't get an answer here, try there, especially things like electrical. All old Mopars are fairly similar design, C-body parts are just bigger than A's.

Thanks Bill, I check out alot of Mopar websites,I'm also fortunate enough to have some friends that are very knowledgeable when it comes to old Mopars, now if I could just win the lottery and turn back the hands of time I'd be all set.
