I am looking for the oblong type the same as what is on your Fury. There is a post in the Fuselage Section "1972 Fury" with some photos. Pick it up at the weekend, but mirrors need to be switched out.

I see the aftermarket plastic mirrors on yours. I saw that car for sale. Glad it went to a good home. From the door jams, is the original color burnt orange?

I am not too fussed if manual or remote. That link you are referring to is not mine (wish it was). I am deciding whether to paint red and keep white roof, or to keep black and change roof to black as well, much like the one in the picture

If my car came circular remote mirrors in parts box, does your post mean those mirrors are not original/correct for 72 Fury?

Circular or round mirrors stopped after 1970. 72 - 72 Furys used the same mirrors. Manual mirrors look like the one on Gold 72 Fury above. The mirror heads are the same for Dodge, Chrysler and Imperials but the mounting bases are different for both the manual mirrors and the remote mirrors. The same applies to the one year only 71 C Body mirror, which also had one version for the Fury and another for the Chrysler and Dodge C Bodies. Again, the mounting bases are different.

Thanks @FURYGT! That's important to know. So the 2 Circular remote mirrors that came with my 1972 Fury are 1970 mirrors that someone grabbed from a junkyard or swap meet because 1970 was the last year for them. Excellent info!
