Too bad their pin stripe guy wasn't better, especially on the yellow lines on the upper part of the passenger side. Nice car overall though. Surprising that the front buckets didn't have more of the characteristic lines that older leather ususally has - very nice!

Man, people sure latched on to that "survivor" thing, eh?

Just got done reading the latest Hemmings Classics and there was an editorial about the 3 fastest growing segments in the old car hobby......trucks,wagons, and survivors. So of course any idiot with somewhat questionable marketing skills will jump on that band wagon. Don't know about everywhere but to be in the Survivor tent at Carlisle the vehicle must be at least 80% original on the exterior, interior, and engine compartment. Minor accident repair is still considered acceptable however ANY rust repair is not and the car is no longer considered a survivor. I may be biased but I will gravitate to a survivor car way before a restored one. Not taking anything away from restored but they are only original once.

What the...?

At the asking price the car should be perfect. It's not even an exterior restoration since the hood and trunk lid don't align.

Actually, if it was a truly "original" car, that trunk won't align well at all.

It is a nice car though.. It will be interesting to see what the final price is.
