Manual steering box (part of front suspension)

Most of the guys there have A or B Bodies was curious if any of you have used this 16:1 manual steering box in the C Bodies?
From my understanding switching out the 20:1 to the 16:1 would switch the turn to lock from 5 to 3.:thinker:

If so, how well did it install and perfom?

16:1 manual steering on a C-body? Don't even think about it unless you're doing 1/4 mile runs only Even then the pits will kill ya...

What do you mean by unless you're doing 1/4 mile runs only? Do you mean for racing? that unstable?
My car came factory with Manual steering and it's turns fine as long as there is movement.
However if I where to toss $600 at steering I could just get power
Like I said was just curious on the difference if the one I have brakes down and the money fairies visit me during the night, would these part be a good buy.

I just simply couldn't deal with driving a car around town with a power steering ratio box on a manual steering car. That's all. My arms would give out.
