Max tire/wheel dimensions for 1966 Sport Fury?

Alright guys I'm trying to find the largest 15" width wheel and tire combo for the Fury. Do not want to tub it, just a fatter rear that wont destroy my inner wheel well or rub the suspension. Heard you can get to 275 wide but no wheel dimensions were listed. Thanks in advance :yourock:

There is currently posted for sale here by another member for a set of four 15x7 steelies. Grab them and a set of dog dishes any you'll be looking good.

I have a pair of P275-60R15 tires on a 15x8 aluminum rim on my 65 Sport Fury. Not certain what the offset is, they fit (it's tight) but without the skirts. I had the same size tire on a 15x7 cop rim under the car and the skirts would still go on.

Here's whats on my 66 Fury.

Rear: 275/60, wheels are 15x8 with 4.25" backspace
Front: 225/70, wheels are 15x7 with 3.5" backspace

There's about an inch clearance from tire to fender however I still have to jack up the body and let the rear end down a bit to get the back wheels off.

I considered that but the rad itself is closer to the body color WW1. If the rad support were black I think the rad would really stick out.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looking for a set of 15s with 4.25 bs now. I will not be running skirts as they are not with me.
