But it seems like a lot of these cars coming up for sale are a little on the pricey side.

But then again, I paid what would come to a total of about $6500 for 3 big block C bodies, 2 A's and a quartet of '71/2 Chargers. The highest of which being my '71 Charger SE project at $1500.

Asking prices and selling prices are making no sense to me whatsoever anymore.
A 100,000 dealer flippers looking for the 10 suckers out there distorting the whole market especially to us guys looking for an unwanted car that "one sold just like it on TV for $30,000.00 so ..."

The crusty Fury I bought a few weeks ago, found a bunch of rust in the firewall area after I pulled the fenders, but he was asking $750 which seemed reasonable. I swapped him a 400/727, because the car seemed to nice to part out and he wanted a motor for his Dart. I'm looking at another barge right now I found through a buddy, pretty much the same deal. The guy wants a 400 to build a stroker, so the Fury's motor is probably going to him for this Monaco. I looked this over really well and other than a new vinyl and some minor cosmetics this one is decent.
