I Like it, And the Movie too...I thought Randy Quaid was Great in it.

Every one of these that I saw had a 440 in it. I'd have to see the fender tag and see if this was born with a 360. I believe a few had 360's (California and high altitude maybe).

A 360 was the base engine. The 440 was optional as with the Warlock's and Lil red express.
 
REAL Midnight Express trucks were not factory. They where converted at Mr Norms Buffalo Grove IL Dodge & Dodge Truck store for 1979 only and since the 440 wasnt available any longer Mr Norms converted them to 440s
 
I really like that truck. Not up on them as far as pricing, but if it is as nice as the pics make it out to be, I think that is a decent asking price.
 
Yea Randy Quaid Has gone off the deep end...but the Truck looks awesome.
