Want to see some C bodies? Well, if you do then don't blink your eyes or you will miss them.

First, a beautiful original owner 1965 New Yorker

Nice looking rides. I love the 66 with the rally rims.

Naturally there were a tons of A, B, and E bodies. Four Superbirds with three the exact same orange and one lime green. Lime green owner is a woman and she bought it in May 1970 a few miles north of me. Of course there were a crowd of much newer cars as evidenced by those walking around with large bill caps, goatees, long baggy shorts and sunglasses. These were you modded out Chargers and 300s which I didn't bother to look at much less waste a picture on.

Some nice cars from earlier years like 30's, 40's and 50's.

Us three C bodies were parked in the back and so not in the crowd and not many stopped by to look. The crowd was heavily 60 and older for the classic Mopars and then in the late 20's and 30's for the newer ones I mentioned. There are going to be a lot of Mopars on the market 10 years from now.

Precious few young adults to be seen. One who passed by my car twice ended up asking me if it was my car. He happened to be 24 and had his very cute Chinese girlfriend along. Oh, how that reminded me of UC Berkeley back in the late 70's and all the cute Chinese girls I dated. Anyway, he is a fan of large four door cars. Had a four door 72 Polara that he called jinxed. The car eventually ended up in Germany. His current daily driver is a very nice looking 75 Fury with white steel rims and dog dish caps. Looks like an unmarked police car. We talked awhile and I shared my info on decent shops where he could get work done in the future. His girlfriend doesn't like driving the Fury as she says old cars are too skittish compared to today's car.

So should I post some more pictures and of which group?

where did the handle come from exactly?

Service nickname about my tall hair .. I was in the service in that pic but had just had a haircut so it's not that tall.. usually I kept it close on the sides and wore a tall flat top then later just tall and shoved back but really tight on the sides which accentuated the height. I was talking to some of the troops one day and one of the younger guys said to another guy in kind of a whisper, both were known for assigning nicknames, "he's got really tall hair". I have a sense of humor myself and thought it was funny so I let it go and it kind of stuck.

Love the New Yorker but I hope the original owner kept the original wheels and covers because the ones that are on it aren't working!I'm into seeing any vintage Mopars and cute girls of any nationality so post away!

late 40's and early 50's

The Plymouth Cranbrook, in the second picture was for sale @$5000. I looked at it and it was original paint, original interior (very decent) and original engine. I was the only person to ask the owner about the car. Tells me this car is dead. Main interest for the 55-70 crowd were the B and E bodies. Main interest for the gangsta crowd were the 300s and Chargers full of bling (god help us). However, I liked it. I recall Maryland, 1962-1964, where there were two Dodges parked next to our house on a dead end street. Grandparents 1951 and 1955.
