Hi guys,
I recently bought this gold 67 New Yorker, i noticed today that the left and right rocker moldings are different, on the left side i have a short extension piece at the lower fender that folds around the wheel arch molding, where as the right side the rocker molding finishes flush at the wheel arch molding.
I removed the extension piece from left side to see if the rocker molding finished flush like the right side, i does not and looks to be in fact shorter.
The left side looks correct where as maybe i have a Newport rocker mold on right side.
Can anyone shed light on this, has the right rocker molding been changed ?

Please see pictures to show my gold car and the picture of the black car is showing the piece i need.
Thankyou for your time
Regards
Gavin.

Might contact Murray B Park, although the next step is finding the factory part number and searching with that. My guess is, they are both correct for the year. Just different trim levels.

I noticed on my 66 Newport there's the Chrysler star on the passenger side behind the front wheel and not the drivers side. I thought I was missing one. Seems all chrysler's are this way.

Passenger fender only. (curbside was the reason for only one side)
