Hello. Just joined the site. I don't have a C body car myself, but I do have an appreciation for them. Actually, I have a Duster that my son and I have been restoring.

I'm also part of Inland Mopars out of Southern California. Most members are from what's known as the Inland Empire.

Well, hopefully I can learn a thing or two here, and maybe I'll finally find me some C body parts that can transfer over to my A body such as slider caliper brackets for 11.75" rotors. ;)

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thanks guys for the welcome!

Ok so here's a bit of info. It's a '74 Duster that I bought in 2013 and my son and I have been working on it since then.

It's got the following:

  1. LA 360 with EQ Magnum heads, XE268H cam, 9.6:1 compression, Air Gap and built by IMM Engines in Indio, CA. It made 403HP on the dyno with gobs of torque.
  2. It started life with a 3 speed manual but now it has a 4 speed with with a pistol grip. Still has the factory 8 1/4 with 3.21 gears (open). I plan to replace that with a B body 8 3/4 that I have but I need to rebuild it with a sure grip and it currently has 2.76 gears.
  3. The interior went from parchment to all black. The headliner is still an issue. I installed a 1 piece ABS headliner and it still doesn't fit right.
  4. It's currently running steel wheels off a Chysler 300 that I'd like to paint Argent Silver and add Rallye caps to give it that Rallye look.
  5. It's been repainted the Burnished Red and added new factory stripes that I got from ChallengerGary (on FABO).
  6. Next up is to rebuild the suspension with a more ProTouring goal.
One thing I'm looking for is C body caliper brackets for slider calipers so that I can upgrade to 11.75 inch rotors. Anyone have a pair taking up room on their shelf?

Hello from Minnesota. Nice duster. Glad your son is into these old rides.
