Were these cast iron, or aluminum? Did they bolt to the heads or exhaust manifolds in any way?

Every set made were cast aluminum Stew. If he had all the pieces those thingz would be worth way more then 1K. With just what he's showing there and trying to sell they ain't worth squat without the missing pieces. And yes Stew, they do bolt to the heads, feeding all 8 intakes separately from 2 Carter 650cc 4 bbls. And yes, their are exhaust runners that feed exhaust gasses from the exhaust manafolds to the under side of the rams to pre-heat the air fuel mix as it's "Rammed" into the cylinders that are bolted to the cast iron headers and the under side of the rams below the carburetors. BigBarney has it right! Lot of hard to find and pricey parts missing.
Here's a pic showing how the bolt to the heads and connect to the exhaust manifolds as well as the exhaust pipes

"Ain't worth squat?" I had a set for years that I bought to put on my 60 Desoto. I bought them in 78 and schlepped them around through three moves and finally decided to let them go at Carlisle. Got $500 for them 15 years ago! I could have gotten way more but I figured let somebody have them that could really use them. They were just collecting dust at my house and I was happy knowing they were gonna be put to good use on someone's dream car. All's well that ends well.

I've got a set of those that also have the bell crank for the cables, the crossover tube and the mounting plates.

All you really can do with them these days is hang them on the wall of your shop/man cave and everytime someone walks in hear them go..

I got a set a few years back, and I have a guy making the plates, for me as we speak. Got carbs and linkage as well. Plan on putting them on an old 413 I got cheap that runs. Not sure If I want to pull the power plant out of my pioneer? Its stock....only time will tell.
