That's a whole lot of cubic feet of roof missing....:D They look great!! Did you climb up into a tree for that shot?

That looks good and a lot better than what I was expecting with that thread title. I was expecting pictures like this

Sad but also visually appealing. Who doesn't like a good salvage yard???

As a kid scrounging salvage yards with my Dad, I'd sit behind the wheel of particular cars I would have liked and feel sad that I couldn't put them back on the road.

Went to a reopened Pic n Pull Tuesday closed for at least 15 years.
One Mopar RWD. An M-body.
But I found a 1970 Rebel SST V8 and A/C 4 door sedan.
They couldn't have made any more than a 1/2 dozen of those.

I'm a junk yard hater. There's a certain lack of respect for the cars that rubs me the wrong way.
Not me........ I find them fascinating. Like a field of dreams. I can wander and try to visulize the history of each car from when it was a shiny new vehicle at the dealership...... The love it received from it's original owner, the missfortunes and eventual neglect that led it to be sitting in the salvage yard.
It seems every one of them tells a story just by it's general condition and items found in it.

In my mind I see every one of them as a brand new, shiny vehicle..... Makes me smile and then I move on the the next fantasy.

Better than Disneyland ....!

My sentiments exactly.
