The Imperials shipped today to their new caretaker, Cantflip.

I was a beautiful day without rain (which is saying something for winter in the Pacific Northwest). I washed the cars one last time.

I hope they provide Cantflip with miles of smiles and the great memories that they did for me.

Wow, nice move cantflip. What an epic journey for those beauties. From Pacnor to Souflo overland has to be close to 3500 miles. I bet you track them with some GPS. I'd be standing on the road with a "here" flag.

I am quite certain that our friend Cantflip will do his utmost to provide for these two wonderful examples of Chrysler greatness in the manner Mr. C would want. If there is one thing I have learned about him he has a definite passion for these cars and has done his research. Their next owner, after me, will be a lucky guy too... but I'm not worried about him.
As I see it, my greater responsibility will be to make sure they are maintained close to as you would. The history you have with these beauties will not be erased during my stewardship.

IDK... they wont be here in time to go to the Lakeland/Carlisle event... which is OK by me. I will most likely give one a shakedown cruise to Old Town in Kissimmee once here. They have a nice weekly cruise. AND... I already put in for the time off in July.

My condolences Mr C. Despite feeling they went to a good home I am certain you will have a void in your life for a hell of a long time, maybe unfillable. A sad day in your life I'm sure.
