I picked it up today from the body shop. I sure like the silver GT stripes and happy with removal of the vinyl roof. The car will be one of six or more I will bring at our local car show July 1, 2018. Celebrate Waupun Car Show will be at Harris mill Park as I'm coordinating the event.

Love the paint and the stripes, but I have a small problem with the rims. The car really pops, but the rims look flat. Maybe super shine them??

I just can't wait to hear how many people say they used to own one just like it. Great job, I may have to contact you on who did the bodywork.

The car was original with now two repaints. The rims are correct as I had a GT 1980-1983. If you look close it is a rough almost textured paint. A heavy silver/black metal flake paint.

Came out damn good! Looks great! Makes me miss my old Cordoba. Truly some over looked cars the forgotten B bodies are.

Hey, I used to own one JUST LIKE that! ('cept mine was different)

Really nice job on the GT, Pete. Sharp car for sure!

See, I told you it was different

The car looks GREAT!

I have some NOS Magnum GT wheels and they are a special paint. Of the three sets I got on Chry Parts closeout, the paint was not the same on all of them. Many had "fade to black" near the outside of the center section. Like a really large metalflake on a silver background, over the normal black. I chose the best set for my '80 Newport. It would be a VERY hard paint to replicate in a restoration!

Thanks for the pictures!
