Well, after 5 years of Sitting in the garage i guided my 69 Polara down to my shop and onto the 4 post lift to start it's restoration...
My 69 sport fury convertible will be finished by spring. It was time to dig my Polata out and get started on the long lead time items. Plating the Bumpers and ordering the rare seat covers etc...the car is rock solid except trunk pan (which I have) and lower qrts... Already have drive line built and ready to go in....What makes this one 1st or are other irons in the fire?

Sold my 1970 Super Bee Late last year in preparation of my Semi Retirement up to Wi where my shop is. My 1969 Sport Fury will be wrapped up in the spring with a new paint job (Yellow/Black convert. top black bucket seat). I installed new floors & trunk pan, interior is finished including mint Dash pad from parts car. Will install NOS fenders this winter before paint then all new NOS trim after paint. Car is optioned with light pkg, Air, P.S. P.B.Great news Dave, good looking 69 as is . Details on the Fury are needed. You still have the B body?
Only question about this Polara restor is if I should use the pristine set of C Body Road wheels I bought or the as equipped deluxe wheel covers as shown
Thanks for the vote on the wheel covers... I agree that these wheel covers are gorgeous... after the car is complete , I'll sell off the road wheels...A red C body convertible with white top and interior..... What's not to love!
My vote goes to the wheel covers.

Funny how time flies... the only pics of the Polara were the ones at the beginning of this thread. I retired almost 3 years ago intending to go full speed into finishing the cars but life got in the way. A wayward 18 y/o daughter, a 2nd heart surgery just a few weeks ago, etc, etc....I just found this thread. Any chance you might take the car to @sixpkrt's 5th Midwest C-body show? I know you moved from IL to WI, but Union, IL ain't that far from Friendship, WI -- and Rockford, IL is on your way so you can meet up with @71Polara383 there
BTW, do you have photos of your Polara 500? I think other owners of 1969 Polara 500 will like that: @69monaco @MrMoparCHP @polara10x500 @CHASCASH @69_topless @Charles Kifer @FletcherAble @elliott brackett @Luvafusey (car formerly owned by @junkoid) @saforwardlook and Bob Baker (who owns ABC Moparts). Former owner @fatboy, too. I am sure that I am missing some other owners on FCBO...
The same is true of @LocuMob (who owns an earlier year 500) and @Don Stolfi as well (he has a '69 ER6 Red Polara 'vert and is local to you)!
