Still has a double stripe tire on it! Must be using its original spare up front. Nice car but I so like the '67 better between the two years of this body.

What was the super duper premium tire back then that all the rich people insisted the dealer put on before it left the showroom?
Had a gold stripe with the white stripes I thing.
And Generals come to mind.
Don't say Vogue. They're repops.

Mr. C:
I'm going to put a collar on you and drag you around with me.
Every time that I'm speaking and my mind goes blank, you'll be there to fill in the blank. :D

Just don't ask me what I had for breakfast! LOL.

I had a set of Royal Seals that I bought from a guy for $10 each. They came new on his Imperial and he didn't like the wide whitewall. Took them off less than a week after he got the car. I had them on my 69 300 convertible, then a 72 Caprice. They lasted for many many miles. The best set of tires I ever had.. period.

One White wall design used in the AMC/Rambler Marlin brochures always made me wonder :
Did These Versions really exist, I remember one pic in the brochure where you could see that the short black Areas were done with tape, so either they were not production ready or never even available on the market....
