My sister passed this morning.

While not unexpected, it's still a very sad time right now. In her life, she battled polio and cancer and beat them both. She fell about three weeks ago and broke her pelvis, shoulder and some ribs. She was in the hospital for a week and then to a rehabilitation facility where she developed pneumonia. She went back to the hospital. She was moved to a nursing home this past weekend where she passed away.

There was no fight left this time. She was a few weeks shy of 80 years old.

This leaves just one of my brothers and myself. I lost one brother 30 years ago and another just last year.

Thoughts and prayers from the Motor City. May she rest in peace.

John:

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sister. Please accept my sincere sympathies at this time of such profound grief.

Sorry John for your loss. May you find peace quickly and rememberance of your sister in better times. Try to not focus on how she left this world but how she lived in this world. Best advice I've ever been given. Prayers from our family sent.

Condolences on the loss of your sister. The loss of a sibling is one I can never know. May she rest in peace and rest in your heart forever.

Sorry for your loss John.

Celebrate all the good times you had with her and your family.

Big John, you have my deepest and sincerest sympathies.
I don't like this loss of loved ones as we get up in age.
Been hitting me hard close to home of late.
They didn't teach us about that part in Senior Citizen School. :(
