I went to the "Back to the Bricks" show in Flint back in August and am just getting around to dealing with the way too many pictures I took.

Does anybody know who made this stepvan? I can almost read the logo on the nose, but not quite.

Looks like it says Potertown maybe?

Definitely Boyertown auto body works body.

This image is from the Boyertown Auto Body Works museum.

And here's another one from the Reading Eagle.

Boyertown was a big producer of commercial delivery vehicle bodies. My grandfather worked for a local (Pittsburgh PA) truck body builder, Doerr Brothers. I made a living for quite a few years driving a step van, or bread trucks as we all called them.

Thanks guys. :)

It looked like boys town to me too, but that seemed unlikely.
"He ain't heavy, he's my breadtruck"?

I did a quick search on Google... I can't believe what these are going for!
How are you doing, Bob. Btw?

Growing up on the East side of Detroit, the Divco appeared as the Twin Pines milk truck. The Boyertown cruised the streets in the summer as the Mr. Softee ice cream truck.
