Apparently seven of these were commissioned by Chrysler, so the ad could be genuine.

I like it a lot!

Especially the leather wrapped steering wheel!!!

I looked at one at a Chrysler Dealer in Fayetteville, NC in 1978. I loved the car, and dreamed about it for weeks afterward, but the window sticker was way above my pay grade at the time.... It was white with red interior, pinstripes and top. As I remember, it was priced at more than 9000 when a comparable hardtop version was around 6500.

Yes it was a good day. The Cordoba lost something in the conversion, the landau top, opera windows and coach lights were the cool stuff on these cars, certenly wasn't the 150hp small blocks or the 200hp bigblocks yes I'm a child of the seventies. At least these are better than the fwd. Coming up in the eighties.

Yeah I'm just a sucker for coach lights and landau tops, product of the seventies plus I had a Cordoba bought it for $250 after being T-boned pulled the rear door jamb back out using come along and telephone pole at my parents house. It never drove quite right but I was cruising in style at 17yrs old. Damn that was a long time ago.
