Okay now the real question is it worth eight large what do the experts think

IF .... the body wasn't roached (undercarriage and around rear windows), I'd think somewhere around $6,750 would take it, and I would be happy to have it.
"Chrysler only made 485 of these cars and only about 200 or so are left in existence."
Is it only me? When people start to throw around numbers,my first thought is, "ok, I call bullshit, prove it".

They're kool, don't get me wrong but I'm getting kind of sick of seeing so many of them.

Having had one, and keeping track of public and private sales, I think this is a reasonable price to start.

The interior appears to be decent and can be re-stuffed. If it doesn't require major rust repair, $8K is a good starting point.

The owner is accepting offers, = the door is open!

Seems like all 550 in one form or another have made it through here in the last few years.

Did every single one ever built make it? Did JC Whitney buy all the surplus Hurst parts in the late 70's and sell the kits for really cheap? How come there are so many of these cars all the time?

For one thing this board highlights any car that comes up. Also it was unusual back in the day so more of them were squirrelled away for posterity. My theory at least why there seems to be more of them popping up.

It's also pretty hard to distinguish These cars as they all look about the same, if the same car is presented with new pics it'll probably pass through as another offering after a couple of months, except when the front Clip is missing. ;)

About 10 years ago I think the 300 Club had a Register of about 50% of the supposedly produced cars with VINs in various stages of condition, so there probably also was a higher percentage of cars stored and saved than the average 300 models.
