Hey Guys,
Checking in with you all here. I'm from So. Eastern Mass and am an old hot rodder (well not that old!). Anyway, I don't have a C body but my nephew does and I grew up driving mopars for my first 5 or 6 cars. First car wa a 65 Plymouth Valiant 4 door I got for $200 in 1979. My nephew, he's 23 and just got married in Sept, got the urge (really a disease) to get an old car and his favs are the mid 60's Mopars. Belvederes and Furys mostly. Anyway I helped him pick one up in January; its a 65 Fury III 4 door in not too bad of shape. I had to do a floor patch panel in the front on the drivers side (outside in the cold of February!). Its got a Poly 318 that from what Ive been reading seems to be a good, reliable engine. And its got the 727 tranny which gets the same reviews. We thought we had it running well but then it blew a head gasket so that's what we are working on it now and I have a few questions that I will post in the appropriate forum.
Anyway, great site you have here!
