I live in NC and I restore classic cars and trucks in my spare time. I have been Mopar my entire life. Mostly Dodge & Plymouth, but I just picked up two 1962 Chrysler 300H cars. One is restorable and unfortunately the other one is only good for parts. I really like the letter cars and I am looking forward to the restoration. I wasn’t sure where the 62 Chryslers fit in but I am assuming they were considered C-bodies. I just finished restoring my 71 Dodge Power Wagon and I have a 56 Plymouth Fury waiting in line. I am looking forward to connecting with some folks on here familiar with these Chryslers.

Welcome. Sooner or later someone will tell you so I guess it can be me. C-bodies are 65 through 78 but having said that, Forward Look cars are welcome here as well. We love pictures, even before the restoration.

Some Forward Look folks claim the 62 300H does not qualify since it lost its fins in 62. Exner was involved with the 62 design prior to leaving Chrysler. Best I can tell the 62 is somewhere between FL and early C-body.

You never know, what do you have?
It's a parts car. Floor/trunk pans etc are gone as are the rockers. Doors and all stainless ( thats there) are good. Complete drivetrain. Interior has some good parts. I'm going to part it out, so let me know if you need something.

Hello from Minnesota. Look forward to seeing the restoration.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. I am hoping I can get most of what I need from the parts car I have, but things never have a way of working out like that.
