I've looked at a number of posts and decided to go ahead and introduce myself. I've had my 69 Ply Fury III Convertible for three years now. Having said that, I purhcased the Ply in Kansas from a gentlemen who planned to restore it and drive it to car shows. Well he ran out of time and had other projects, so the vehicle sat in a metal building for 7 years. He had purchased the vehicle in 1993 from the orginal owner also from Kansas where it sat in a barn begining in 1983. There is a lot of work to be done, but the body is straight, all the trim is there and it appears from close examination that it was never in any accidents. It has a 318 (red mopar paint) with 85,000 on the speedo. The guy I bought it from said he had lost the keys, no problem, these can be replaced with new key sets. At first I thought that the rear seats were missing. So I found a rear seat (bottom and top) out of Arizona. Then after the seat arrives, I'm messing around the glove box that I thought was locked, pressed the button and it opened. Guess what? I found the keys. Yeah! I opened the trunk and found the orginal rear seat (complete). So now I have two sets of rear seats. Don't know what I'm going to do with the other set. Maybe someone needs rear seats for their project. If so, let me know. Anyway, the project will begin this winter with a complete body off restoration. I'll take pics and post as I go. Thanks, SFMAJOR

Welcome and happy you joined in. We love projects (we get to watch other people spend money) and a Fusie 'vert will capture a lot of interest here.

Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing. Projects are always interesting to follow and much appreciated here. Hope you get a chance to post some pics. BTW did you recover the build sheet?

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Great story on finding the keys and the original back seat. I can't imagine selling a car without first making sure I didn't leave anything in the glovebox.

sounds like a great project. there is a market for the rear seats as the frames tend to collect water and rust out.
