Hi,
I have a 1967 Plymouth fury 3, Its a two door hardtop with a 383 commando engine, 66 K original miles. I am currently looking for either a complete set of hinge pins/ bushing for the front doors, or a set of rebuilt hinges. Does anyone know where you can get/ find these parts?

Second question

I have been thinking of doing a front disk brake conversion to this vehicle. Does anyone know of any after market kits available to do this or have a list of recommended parts that could be used? If a conversion is done do I have to change rim size?

third question

Does anyone know where I can find a set of NOS/aftermarket rear tail light lenses?

Sorry these probably seem like rookie questions but there's not a lot of information available for these vehicles, not to mention this is my first Plymouth.

Welcome... there are lots of good people here who have similar cars and interests... I'm sure you will get help. If you would like a little more attention, how about a few pictures?

I used the spindles from a 73 to put front discs on mine. Its a pretty common way to do it. Calipers, rotors, most everything is available from places such as Rockauto. The hard part is finding the spindles.

I'm parting a 68 Fury III 2 door. However in taking a few weeks off for the holidays. Hope to go back at it after the first. So if you need something check out my Facebook page C body Bob & let me know

'73 and up is the way to go. But beware, if you find a set on eBay or elsewhere, be sure they are from '73 and newer. Those use a one-piece rotor; earlier years use two-piece rotors and are bloody expensive!

I bought mine off of eBay; were supposed to e '73s. They were '71s. New rotors cost me $450.

If you find a car in a yard, take everything: rotors, calipers, hoses, backing plates, the spindles, the proportioning valve, and the hardware. Use the spindles and plates, but replace all else. Why get them then? To use as guides for what you need to buy. That's how I/we learned I did not have '73 rotors.

If you're good at rebuilding calipers, you can reuse them of course. The rotors might be able to be turned as well. I just like to go new, and I've done this conversion on two cars.

Like I said earlier, the taillights are almost impossible to find. Your best bet is a parts car or eBay.

Hello from a fellow Minnesotan! Try the classified section and also post a wanted thread, somebody might have what you need or have a lead.

Well, if you're trying to buy parts from across the country you will need someone to pack them for you. So... yes.

My sarcasm meter must be broken, I thought you were serious there for a moment
