Recent 1968 Newport convertible purchase. First classic I’ve ever owned.
Original owners from Ohio. I am 4th owner. The glove box was filled with all kinds of historical docs.
Docs ranged from original sales workup sheets from the dealer, sticker and build sheets, owner loan payment book, picture of original owner with the car when originally puchased and many more. I made a scrap book of it all to share when I take it out.
Has a rebuilt 413 , new gas tank, brakes, radiator. Looks like 1 repaint from what I can tell. Great shape from all appearances. Time will tell the more I drive it. 17,000 miles on the speeedo.
