In 1964 and 65, New York City hosted the World Fair. Chrysler had a large presence there with their large pavilion. I was there as a kid, both 1964 and 1965.

I started collecting 1965 Mopar literature as I have my '65 300L and '65 Formula S Barracuda. I stumbled upon some postcards from the World Fair from the Chrysler exhibit and that got me started looking for other stuff.

I do remember going through the exhibit. The 1964-1965 New York World's Fair - Chrysler I saw a running Turbine car they were giving rides in, but my Dad didn't want to wait around. Another memory was the new '66 Dodge Charger in 1965 (I assume a pre-production car) that was maroon, and I feel in love with it.

There was also a "Hell Drivers" thrill show that used Dodges, but I don't think it was part of the Chrysler exhibit as it was right next to the GM exhibit. The 1964-1965 New York World's Fair - Auto Thrill Show I'm going to look for a program for that.

I remember having one of these. It's been long gone though. It had a safety pin on the back. I just found a decent one that wasn't folded.

And I recently found a brochure of the exhibit.

I happened to find a program for the Hell Drivers last night on eBay. BTW, here's an eBay hint to save you money. Put the piece you are interested in on your "watchlist". A good percentage of the time you'll get an offer from the seller. In this case, I got 25% off the "Buy it now" price.
