Very nice Newport! Priced quite high. Another car I think looks nice with vinyl.

Got it, they didnt make a bunch of those, which is why I think I like those so much, their uniqueness.

Your right, it looks great on that car........on a formal Ny'er....not so much.

Kool car but not $18K rare!

Being that it looks to be a grade 3+ or 2- that puts it around 7K by the book. Assuming anyone pays by the book. So does the vinyl add 10K to the car or only does if you live in an alternate universe as the seller does?

Never heard of the Town & Country expression with these Sports Grain models. Was this an official designation for these ?
Know of it for station wagons and the real wood paneled convertibles.

In 1968 the woodgrain startet being available on the Newport models. 2dr HTs and CVs. The option continued to 1969 and was deletet later on. It wa not possible to get a 2dr HT woodgrain car with a v-roof.

Out of my head I have seen 10-15 cars over the years for both modelyears in total

I know this model, but did Chrysler ever use the Town and Country designation on these as used in the ad ?

Correction:
Flipped to another flipper for way less than our absurd price.
Look for it at an auction in the future at the original absurd price again.
