1953 Chrysler New Yorker

You'll look good at the dream cruise in this! I found another project....
Selling my 53 Chrysler New Yorker deluxe Newport, it's a 2-door hardtop
Fun car to drive, automatic with safety clutch.
331 hemi, 6 volt system, radio and clock don't work. Wipers work, as do fans, but no heat
Brand new Coker bias ply tires (turbine caps not included, have original caps that come with the car)

Has brake issues, will include new rear wheel cylinders (one is leaky)
Original muffler finally broke at weld, now straight piped, loud but not obnoxious.
Nice black and white interior (re-done)
Email me with any questions!
I'm firm on my price, no dealers please, I don't need help selling this car

I'm not usually big into these but this one speaks to me.

Very cool car!

Didn't see many in white back then.

Interesting... I saw that car on facebook at least a year ago. The guy had just bought it. Same pictures, as I remember asking if it was the same car in all the pics. 1953 was the first year for the one piece windshield and the top pic looks like a split windshield.

Turned out to be a reflection, but I went back and forth with the owner about it.

Rear brakes are simple on those cars, but the front brakes are a bit complicated with dual wheel cylinders and centering adjustments. When they work, they work well, but getting them right is a task.
