So? It's a pretty nice car! The dual-quad intake was available from the dealership for several years. The wheels fit the car. The owner has dressed it up to his desires, without making changes irreversible. His price with it being a Poly-head car is high, but not insanely so. Hell, I like the car. Only thing I'd do to it is paint the block the correct factory Red and roll with it.

I'd have to change the wheels.

It's the whole engine compartment that drives me nuts. Every time I popped the hood to check the oil I would shudder.
He modded the hell out of the car yet he couldn't bother to swap out the single reservoir master cylinder.

It is a looker overall, though.

I have to agree with Stan on the single reservoir esp considering work done. I think the poly engines are really cool looking and different and i'm with Patrick on the dual quad and changing the engine color.

I'm with Matt on the wheels. I'd also want to change to a stock looking battery, rad cap, and lose the braided hoses.

The overall look including the wheels look better in this pic though

Nice Charger!

I'm most concerned with the T-bars cranked up..

Nice looking car. I'm a sucker for the original Charger body style. When I was in 9th grade a guy just out of high school had one, a 383 4-spd, and he'd occasionally drop off his girlfriend at school. I'd be in first period study hall and gaze out the window at the car as he left the parking lot. I seem to recall he had Thrush side pipes on it. Ah, the formative years... *sigh*

I have always been a fan of the fastback Charger. Great car all the things I don't like can be reversed.

I always like these wheel covers or a nice set of Magnum 500's.

Not into correctness, is he.....

Love the first gen Chargers, but this one misses the mark. Wheels, chrome engine compartment, etc, ..... Looks like it was put together by a chevy guy.
I do admire the fact he kept the poly in place though. Great engines. The dual quads were dealer counter items in 1956, with WCFB's. Std on 57/58 Furys.

The customizations detract from the overall effect but I'm sure the owner thinks all is good. As mentioned above nothing that can't be reversed.
