Wow, the quarters have been replaced with those flat panels that are available. The body lines are so wrong that the skirts won't fit. You see this a lot on Fuseys.

You have a pretty good eye to see that from those photos - at least I didn't see that issue on my computer. Just out of curiosity, I called the seller and he said the car has been repainted and that it came from Pennsylvania, so it is quite likely the rear quarters are not pristine. And it has 91K miles on it. So it isn't what I thought it might be and probably isn't worth anything close to his asking price.

Knowing nothing about Imperials I presume the quarter should roll under the car instead of coming straight down like they are?
 
Yes, the quarter should tuck under the car. In this pic you can see the curve to the quarter. On this car where it meets the rear bumper and how far it extends behind the rear tire are dad giveaways.
