1965 Chrysler Newport Hardtop 2-Door 6.3L

Beautiful all numbers matching 1965 Newport. Two Door Hardtop Survivor. 383 engine and 727 Automatic Transmission. 50,500 original miles documented on the title. Second owner. COLD Factory A/C, S, B. Power Windows all go up and down fast, o hesitation, ower Drivers Seat works perfect. Doors areperfectley aligned, o sagging. Interior is almost perfect except for a small split in the bottom cushion of the drivers seat. The car drives and handles like a new one. YouDon't see a lot of two door hardtops that survived. Four new Radial Tires. The original wheels and hubcaps are in the trunk. I would honestly drive this car anywhere.

This one has been on eBay 2 times in the last 2 years and actually was sold for the $10500. The pictures are the same as used on eBay so either this is an old ad or there is something wrong with it.

I don't think it's necessarily anything wrong, but perhaps just a guy (or gal) that wants an above-avg price for a very nice car, and possibly had it sold and the deal fell thru, so now is trying again.

I save ebay listings for cars that interest me, this one caught my eye as it has bucket seats with a unique pattern, the only Nupe I've seen them in. And it's kinda unusual to see a Nupe showing such survivor status in a 2dr, and in such good colors/options, and PW and PSeat to boot. Cool car for sure! I wouldn't change a thing on it -- except to get rid of those spinners on the wheels.

Here is info I have saved, it may not be a complete list, just the times I saw/saved it. All 4 ebay listings are from same seller name (firebird 30153) and Colonial Heights VA, same location as the link in post 1. So presumably not being flipped.
Listing 1 ended Apr 19, 2014 with 4 offers on a 15,500 price - noted as item not available.
Listing 2 ended Aug 26, 2014 with 2 offers on a 13,000 price. (not a sale)
Listing 3 ended Oct 15, 2014, no offers are noted on the listing.
Listing 4 ended Dec 6, 2015 with $8500 price, noted as 'best offer accepted'.

I think that car would be a good buy at $8500. Maybe not a steal, but a super-nice car, and sometimes that's the tradeoff.
