For a car like this to sell for anywhere in the mid to high 20's -- which is what the owner would likely accept, this car needs to be perfect. I do not see a perfect car here. It's a nice car for sure, but the owner wants all the money for an OEM perfect C body convertible, and this car is far from a perfect OEM situation. Lots of chrome pieces in the engine compartment that screams boy racer, as well as the rims on the wheels. The heater is not hooked up either, so who knows if the heater matrix leaks (I know, I know, it's in Florida so who cares -- well, I'm not the one asking $30,000 for the car either............). The wood grain has seen better days too -- again, I feel it is warranted to be nit picky with this car because of the dollar amount that is being asked here -- it's an over the top ask, so for that number, I think people are warranted to be this way. Does the triple black help on this -- you bet, but $30,000? I think this is a huge number for a Polara convertible.
I also think that whoever finally does purchase this car will have a nice ride, don't get me wrong. I just think that it will be a long time to find the person to buy it anywhere close to this number, and now the buyer will have trouble selling it too, because he probably paid too much for it.
