North Alabama show

A local annual show held in a nice park on the Tennessee river in north Bama this past Saturday. A nice day and some nice cars.

Ellie talking her way out of a ticket ......... Does the policeman look familiar.....? Also a shot of him and his bullet. He arrived in a very authentic 63 Mayberry squad car.
In addition to the General Lee and Sheriff Rosco P Coltrain's squad car, The Sheriff Buford Pusser car, (Walking Tall), was also in attendance.

Looks like that show was a lot of fun. Did Barney sound as good as he looks?

Nice cars. And the banning of the Confederate flag ban doesn't seem to be as severely followed as pc wanted to dictate recently. That harmless beige 65 Dodge Coronet 4dr. is about my favorite in These pics.

Seems to be the same owner as the Dukes of Hazzard Police car.

Looks like that show was a lot of fun. Did Barney sound as good as he looks?

It was amazing how much this fellow looked and sounded like Barney. I did a double take when he walked up and said "hey, what's up"...? He must have spend hours studying. Even had his "ticket book" He walked like him and used several of the quips that Barney used on the show.

I don't know why I didn't take a pic of the Mayberry and Buford Pusser squad cars. To busy being social I guess.

This is Alabama, the confederate flag is still the primary flag. Someone in the swap area had several for sale. Nope..... not going to go away anytime soon here.
