I'm working on a 79 Magnum with 22K on it. The rear springs are just plain wasted. I plan on ordering custom made from Alcan Spring in Colorado, but need one small piece of info. I've been very happy with their stuff. Polaraco has had them for over 10 years now and they still have not sagged.

Does anyone happen to know what the correct arc is? Or maybe someone has a leaf out they can measure for me?

I'm thinking its something like 3", maybe 4" from memory.

Thanks in advance

I would think a spring company should be able to look it up in their books. I had a set re-arched at a local spring shop and while I believe it was a waste of time and money, they were able to look up the specs for my ‘71 Challenger.

Order it from ESPO Springs and Things. Probably cost you less for shipping and they will have the specs.

Nope. I'm staying with Alcan. They have a great reputation for making tough springs. They're really big in the Jeep world, where springs are abused to no end. And I get great prices from them for all the business I have sent their way over the years. I need one more set of springs after this for my 62 New Yorker. I bet I had 20 sets + what I bought through them. Thanks for the lead though.
The reason I am asking is because there are 3 different arcs in the books and it's causing confusion. Since it's a low production body, there were some variations. 4 and 5 leaf springs, stuff like that. It's a b body spring, but the car is really a C -1/2. It has the conventional torsion bar front end.
