Not getting the Polara back this Spring...

Grrrrr.......I should have it back by now. I have been expecting the shop to tell me it's done for the last three weeks or more. I called Friday and the owner/body man/painter had an emergency surgery and has four weeks of recovery. His wife who has worked along side him in the shop for twenty years or more is blocking out the body again, then it will likely have to sit or else I have the option to have a painter come in to their shop and paint the car. I plan on waiting. Back to working on the A body. Damn, we were getting closer.

Friday afternoon I had to bring a friend to the body shop to get his car out of there after six weeks of "We're starting on it tomorrow".

That's a bummer! I hope his surgery is nothing too major and that he can make a full recovery.

I didn't inquire too much about the surgery since his wife actually sounded a little choked up when she was talking about it.

i guess at at this point, what's a few more weeks when it has been at his shop for years. LOL. Just sucks, I was all pumped to be wrenching soon.
