Not mine but I wish it was. It is in Long Island NY, Long Beach.
The car needs a windshield and drivers and passenger windows, they are broken out, and to be revived. He doesn't have a title but said he can get a duplicate. Also says it was repainted in the 70s.
Been in a garage for 45 years.
Does anyone know of a windshield and drivers n passenger windows?

Shouldn't be too hard to source replacement glass, if you want it, I'd say get it before someone buys it to part it out.

My big concern is a title and glass. NJ does have a way to get a title, it's a 12 step process. I'm guessing but that sounds like months of waiting. Not sure I want a car in my driveway for months before getting a title and being sure if I can put money into it. If I can't get a title, I'm not interested in parting out a car from my driveway.

A New York State car that old does not have a title, never did. That started in 1973 and still holds true for 1973 and up cars.

1972 and down should have a transferable registration though. It's going to depend on the last year it was registered if he can get a duplicate, but he's never going to get a NYS title duplicate because it never had one.

Since the car was parked 45 years ago, I seriously doubt he's going to be able to get a duplicate.

Big_John, thank you for the info and taking your time to respond.

Run away. Far far away.
Last ran 45 years ago - I'm sure it'll fire right up with no stuck rings or valves or anything.
You could *easily* drop $2500 more into and it wouldn't look any better than it does now.
Drop $2500 more after that and it might start to look like a good project.

There was one FS near me, also a 63 300 'vert, for $2500. Ran and drove, in primer but looked like a decent start, it sat square and tall and presentable.
FS for a long time for $2500. I thought about buying it to maybe flip, but figured if he couldn't sell it, why would I think I could?

My point - spend some time and find a better car to start with.
