Yes but with a starting bid of $2500 no reserve worth a look.
Not reallly... Cuz it is a 1500$ car...
So anything the poster gets above that is like free money....

Finding rotors will be fun... And costly...
There is visible rust in dogleg so that is indicative there is more hidden...

Approaching Derby territory......

Always could swap out to a Formal drum brake axle.

Well I said worth a look, not rush right over and buy it. Out here though a running 1970 440 and 727 will bring close to $1200 right there. That and probably a sure grip worth another $400. Now before I get flamed here I'm not suggesting it's a parts car because if it were mine I'd drive the hell out of it. I'm just saying if there are no surprises I could justify paying close to his asking price. At $1500 if it was local it would be on my trailer as we speak.

I do like the early fusie Imp. front end. They got a little heavy later on so the early years were nice.Though i would take a 73 and put a 69 front end clip on it because the rear end bumper tail lights were nicer. Not a big fan of the wrap around rear bumper of the early cars.Though really i do love the 69TO73 years.Anybody hear of matching a 69 front clip to a 73.Heh.Just get the damn 69!!Heh.B.B

What is different about the rotors besides the bolt circle compared to a 70 C-body?

Kevin

Aren,t Imperial and New Yorker rotors the same? What a pain in the neck if you can,t source brake parts.B.B
No..
They are not..
\Chrysler is 5 on 4 1/2"
\Imperial is 5 on 5 "
Hub size is also different ..

Currently I do not know of any place that would have NEW brake rotors..

Oh boy.I guess really rough Imps. have to be parted out.Rotor search is critical because they can,t be resurfaced. They can be turned only so many times. And if these heavy cars are braked at high speeds that can warp the rotors.B.B

When did Imperial go to the C-body front suspension? I'm not familiar with the Imperial rotor but if it's a 2 peice maybe a 4x4 W150 rotor hat could be used aka Anthony Fury's procedure. The later 4x4 was 5x5 bolt circle, no?

Kevin

I don't remember seeing a 70 Imperial without a vinyl roof, wasn't it standard?

It was standard only on LeBarons while it was optional for Crowns, of which the latter was discontinued in 70, so 71-75 all Imps were LeBarons.

That C-body comes from 67, when Imperials got the unitized body construction familiar with others Mopars. That structure lasted all the way to 75, when the make Imperial was discontinued and its body was given to 76-78 Chrysler New Yorker Broughams.
