1971 Chrysler Newport Royal for sale - $10,000

1971 Chrysler - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale

Seller description:
- Stock 1971 Chrysler Newport Royal
- Mileage: 109,000 miles
- Clean title

Not Mine. Looks like a very bare bones model with no clock, radio delete, and manual windows. Clean looking car but asking price is steep in my opinion especially with such a modest description and only 4 photos.

It seems like a car with 109K miles on it ought to look more worn than that one does. Even the cloth seat bottom in the driver area isn't really showing wear, the paint on the front of the car isn't chipped significantly and even the valence isn't significantly dented like virtually all are at that mileage and the carpet/driver mat is nice. The brake pedal dress up is nice and the steering wheel doesn't show any significant cracks either. I wonder what the under hood looks like?

But it is a steep price if it really does have that many miles on it and given the low options/sedan body style. And it would be a 360 if it has the standard engine in the Royal.

I wonder if the seats were covered with something, because of the sheriff sticker. Due to the price I was expecting less doors, and I like more doors.
And less pillars, this is(unfortunately) a $4,000 car at the most if it’s as nice as it looks in the pics.

I love the looks of the seats, they remind me a lot of the paisley top on a Fury Gran Coupe. Damn they are in immaculate shape for 50 years old if they are original. Pretty nice car too, looks brand new. Most likely the car is not, but I wonder if the it is a survivor? Love the car, except I however do not like that there is very little info in the ad, and no engine photos.

Like the sedan, seats are way cool a vinyl top would dress it up some. But the price is too high for what it is.

Check out that front license place too, looks to be perfect condition!
